In 2024, founder Pasenadee flew home to Sri Lanka on a whim, met a girl with a coffee tattoo, called a coffee company with a Japanese name, and accidentally built an export pathway. The first cupping scored a humbling 68, but we kept going—learning, roasting, refining. Months later, Kalu Coffee placed bronze at Golden Bean Australasia Competition.
Because Sri Lankan coffee deserves a spot beside its world-famous tea—and to be enjoyed throughout Australia.
